Launch of Fantasy Weddings

Friday, 15 August 2008 20:13 by uniqueweddings

Last night saw Caroline photographing the launch of Fantasy Weddings in Cheshire.  A new bespoke wedding planning service, UniqueWeddings.co.uk is the recommended wedding photographer for discerning couples.

September sees the opening of their beautiful showroom.  Last night was the opening evening at the Belle Epoque restaurant, complete with living statues, jazz singer, saxophonist, 60 guests, pink champagne and of course, the lovely owner - Katherine!

The guests (and Caroline) had a wonderful evening and we're sure the business will go from strength to strength.  We very much look forward to working together.

Caroline & Glenn donated 20 signed, limited edition, fine art prints and helped raise over £65,000 for ‘Help the Hospices' at the Lliving Exposure auction, Bonhams, Bond Street, London .

Further details:-

Living Exposure, a unique contemporary photographic auction and draw, has again surpassed expectations and raised £65,000 for the charity. The funds will assist the charity to provide grants, funding, training, advice, information, advocacy and support for the 220 plus hospices throughout the UK . Each year, hospices provide care and comfort for people suffering from cancer and other terminal illnesses – and give support to those caring for loved ones. For further information about the charity, please visit www.helpthehospices.org.uk

250 people attended the event for which more than 200 photographs had been donated by leading UK photographers. All the images were selected by a panel of experts from hundreds submitted by members of UK professional photographic industry bodies. Maxine Blunden, corporate fundraising manager at Help the Hospices, said, "We are truly grateful to Towergate Camerasure, sponsors of the event, for all their efforts in staging Living Exposure for the second year running, and to all the photographers who donated pictures. We're thrilled to have raised £65,000 which is an incredible sum. A great time was had by all."
